2011 Old Fashioned Christmas Play & Carols

Sometimes the smell of Christmas cookies baking in the oven are just the thing to set the mood for Christmas. Or maybe it is the smell of pine cones, wreathes, and holly decorating the house. Perhaps it is the flurry of activity during Advent in preparation for Christmas. All point to one thing, the coming of Christ to this world.

Christ Emmanuel.

On December 21st, the students of Mater Dei Academy will perform their annual Christmas play, honoring the event that brings the Lord into our world. They have been practicing for weeks and welcome all to their little prelude to Christmas itself. A full dress rehearsal performance starts at 1:30 PM and is open to anyone who wishes to visit at that time. The formal play will be performed at the school at 7:00 PM.

A map to the school is below. Clicking on it will bring up the complete Google map. Note: The front of the school and its parking lot are accessed via Elm Street. The school itself sits behind Faith Lutheran Church on Collingwood Avenue.
